Situated at the Sebring International Raceway, Florida, in 2023, this open-door event provides an opportunity for us to put our cars through rigorous testing, as well as allowing fans to get a glance of the state of the field before the season’s official racing begins.

Round 1 – Sebring – 1000 miles

Sebring is one of the oldest continuously operating race tracks in the USA and provides drivers and cars with 6.02km of challenging track due to Sebring’s rough and changing surfaces as it blends a mix of asphalt and concrete sections.
The endurance races takes place over 1000 miles (1609.3km) with teams having eight hours to complete the race.

Round 2 – Portimão – 6 hours

Portimão is the first European track Iron Lynx visits during the WEC calendar and features many technical challenges for drivers with its range of slow and fast turns which include some drastic increases in gradients.
The track’s width also provides drivers with plenty of opportunities for overtaking, making Portimão a highlight for many spectators and teams alike.

Round 3 – Spa-Francorchamps – 6 hours

Spa-Francorchamps is undoubtedly one of the most famous and exciting race circuits on any motorsport calendar. Featuring spectacular corners, linking into extremely fast straight sections, enhanced with various elevation changes.
Spa is a mentally challenging circuit for drivers where simple mistakes on it can cost seconds due to the punishing nature of the circuit.

Round 4 – Le Mans – 24 hours

A track renowned across the world, Le Mans provides drivers with 13.62km of track, including large sections of closed of public roads. Also known as Circuit de la Sarthe, it includes the famous Mulsanne Straight offering drivers nearly 6km of tarmac, interrupted with only two small chicanes, forcing drivers to be on the pulse.
This track is not just famous for its straights however, with the corners and chicanes providing technically difficult challenges for drivers to rise above.

Next on the FIA WEC calendar, Iron Lynx returns to home ground as the championship travels to Italy and the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza.
With long straights and wide corners, the layout of this historic track enables it to be one of the fastest on the calendar which has given it the nickname ‘The Temple of Speed’.

The final track for the year is a visit to Fuji Speedway. Situated at the foot of Mount Fuji, Japan, this track has been a feature on the WEC calendar since 2012.
The track has one of the longest straights on any of the world’s purpose-built motorsport tracks, at 1.47km.

Round 7 - Bahrain - 8 hours

The Bahrain International Circuit will in 2023 once again host the final round of the World Endurance Championship season – the perfect venue, with facilities second to none and a welcome as warm as the weather to round out an intense year of competition. Situated in the desert, the WEC entrants race into the night as the sun sets over the Gulf.
