Prologue - Qatar
22 | 23 March 2026
The FIA WEC season is traditionally preceded by an official test session, the Prologue, at the same track hosting the series opener. For the third consecutive year, Qatar will be the home of the final preparations for 2025, but the start will be moved by one month to late March. While the intercontinental location is logistically tricky especially for teams using new machinery, the Prologue is always a valuable opportunity to learn in pleasing weather and progress ahead of race weekend.

Round 2 – Imola
19 April 2026
FIA WEC returns to the Imola Circuit for the third time to kick off its European stint, which will lead into the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Italian circuit is relatively narrow, but overtaking is possible and the fan support is incredible. In addition, the full city supports the race as it’s unforgettable for fans and insiders alike. In terms of driving, the corners and chicanes are really technical, but the it’s the strategic, environmental, and competitive variables that make the difference.
Round 5 – São Paulo
11 | 12 July 2026
This compact circuit situated between the lakes outside São Paulo has delivered many historic moments, great battles and a lot of passion in the past. The teams race in the shade of many famous Formula 1 drivers, starting from the legendary Emerson Fittipaldi, the first winner, Nelson Piquet and Ayrton Senna. The race occurs during the Brazilian winter, so the conditions are tough to predict, while tyre wear is a key variable.

Round 7 – Fuji
27 September 2026
The penultimate round of the year is a visit to Fuji Speedway. Situated at the foot of the stunning Mount Fuji, Japan, this track has been a regular feature on the WEC calendar since 2012. With a long straight and a variety of corners, it is tough to predict and decide the car balance for the race. In addition, the outside temperatures and weather can vary wildly from one season to the other. Quick reactions from teams in terms of set-up is thus paramount.
Round 8 - Bahrain
07 November 2026
Bahrain is a fast track located in the Middle Eastern island-state. With very warm weather normally greeting the drivers, the 8-hour race heads into the night carrying changing conditions.
