IRON LYNX LOOKING FOR ELMS REBOUND AT CIRCUIT PAUL RICARD

The second round of the 2025 European Le Mans Series will be going underway at Circuit Paul Ricard this weekend. The history-filled French venue sits close to the Mediterranean coast, in a charming area of France where fine food and beverage meet fine racing. Built by legendary entrepreneur Paul Ricard, the track is almost six kilometers long and has many fast and technical corners with a variety of configurations. Iron Lynx will be lining up in full formation as the ELMS will once again be paired with the Ligier European Series.

Driving the #63 Mercedes-AMG LMGT3, the trio of Martin Berry, Lorcan Hanafin, and Fabian Schiller is looking to rebound from an early issue in the opening race at Barcelona. While Berry is coming from a stellar pole and a solid performance, both Hanafin and Schiller hope to put in substantial mileage in race conditions.

The crew of the #9 Oreca 07 car, fielded under the Iron Lynx Proton banner, is also expecting a rebound after suffering from an electric problem in Spain and finishing multiple laps down. Coming close to pole last time around, Matteo Cairoli has proved his raw pace in qualifying while Maceo Capietto and Jonas Ried delivered some very steady runs. There will be an extra variable for this race with new medium tyres brought by Goodyear for the LMP2 class.

The youngest of the Iron Lynx pairings, featuring Matteo Pianezzola and Gregorio Bertocco, will be entering the second round of the Ligier European Series on the #60 Ligier JSP4. The two secured their first prototype podium in Catalunya, and are looking to build on that result or even improve it.

We cannot wait to go back on track in the European Le Mans Series after showing great potential in the opening race and not having the chance to finalize it. We feel confident we can be competitive both in LMP2 and LMGT3, and we’ll try to maximize what we have to score as many points as possible.
