IRON LYNX X TRIVELLATO SET FOR ITALIAN GT DEBUT

Iron Lynx is delighted to announce a new programme and a high-profile partnership leading to the team’s return in the Italian Gran Turismo Championship.
The operation will run under the Iron Lynx X Trivellato banner, and will see Iron Lynx associate with one of Italy’s most prestigious and historic automotive companies.
Born more than 100 years ago in Vicenza, Trivellato is now an extremely successful chain of dealerships and service provider, and the Country’s largest AMG dealership. Trivellato also has a long-standing motorsport tradition, having achieved success at international level since the 70’s in single-seaters and tin tops.
Iron Lynx X Trivellato will compete on two occasions this year, in order to lay the foundations for future programmes. Running a Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO racecar. It will debut in early August in the third round of the Italian Gran Turismo Endurance Championship at Imola, and will return for the final round of the Italian Gran Turismo Sprint Championship at the end of October at Monza.
The car will be campaigned by two rising stars in international motorsports. Jean-Luc D’Auria will return to Italian GT after leaving a strong impression with a win in 2023. and later joining the ADAC GT Masters Series. A 24-year-old Swissman, he will be driving the Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO for the first time, although he already competed with the GT4 version of the powerful German machinery.
Sharing the cockpit will be 18-year-old sensation Lin Hodenius. The Dutchman made the switch from single seaters to GT earlier this year, joining Iron Lynx in the FIA World Endurance Championship. His talent turned heads so far, as he showcased speed and consistency, debuting in the world’s leading endurance series.
The pair already had the chance to hit the track in testing ahead of their debut at Imola.
We are extremely proud to join forces with a strong partner like Trivellato for this programme. They are an excellent, proudly Italian company that wrote so many great pages in automotive and motorsport history. We cannot wait to try and add more. We are delighted to welcome Jean-Luc on board. He has a great potential and really impressed us in testing. He also already knows the championship. On the other hand, Lin needs no introduction. Despite his short experience in GT racing, he did an amazing job and quickly proved he’s among the leading pack in FIA WEC, not only being fast but also consistent and knowledgeable. These two races will enable him to gain more experience with the team and car in a more relaxed context, without the huge pressure of a world championship. As we saw in testing, the drivers already found great chemistry with each other, so not only they have speed, but also a great team spirit. They will push and support each other, and we are really looking forward to having them on track for the race.
